This lecture introduces personal protective equipment (PPE) and its usage in various medical settings. It describes harms and benefits of PPE. At the end of the lecture participant will be able to: Identify the appropriate PPE in the hospital/clinic settings; recognize the reaction to PPE; learn the objective available tools to identify the culprit; manage the affected individuals; and offer alternative measures.
