Dr. Lorine reviews the basics of OMT. Osteopathic philosophy and OMT techniques including Myofascial Release, High Velocity/Low Amplitude (HVLA), Muscle Energy, and Counterstrain are examined, while the indications and contraindications of each manipulation are discussed.

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 Hour of AOA Category 1-A CME credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

The ACOFP submits your credits to the AOA on a monthly basis.

  1. Complete the pre-assessment (ungraded)
  2. Complete the Evaluation.
  3. Complete the final CME Quiz. You must complete the CME quiz with a score of 70% or better, within a maximum of three (3) attempts, within 10 days of the live event.
