This session will provide an overview of the development of sexual and gender identities, evaluate related health disparities and suggest an approach healthcare professional can use to support kinds and young adults during their development.

Learning Objectives:
Describe the development of sexual and gender identities in kids and youth
Illustrate ways LGBTQ youth are targeted and experience health disparities, including intersectional identities
Discuss a “support without steering” approach to gender diversity in kids and young adults, using case examples
