During this seminar, a review of common somatic dysfunction found in hospitalized patients will be presented. There will be a review of OMM studies that occurred in the hospital setting including the MOPSE trial and it’s protocol. We will review high yield techniques that can be performed in the hospital setting to treat conditions such as pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, CHF exacerbation, and COVID -19. Finally, there will be an opportunity to practice the techniques presented. This CME is improving the gap in education for high yield OMM in the hospital setting, why it is so important to do these simple techniques on every patient to decrease length of stay and morbidity.
