Jake Starsiak, DO, MBA
REGION 4
Resident Council

Hi everyone! I am Jake Starsiak, a current PGY-2 family medicine resident at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. I attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences so if you want to talk BBQ, I am your guy! While in medical school, I served on the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents (COSGP). Additionally, I earned my MBA in healthcare leadership at Rockhurst University. Prior to medical school, I attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, earning a degree in biology and public health. Ultimately, I am compassionate about growing the osteopathic community in primary care and incorporating our osteopathic values into daily practice. As a homegrown Midwesterner, I am honored to be representing Region 4 and serve on the ACOFP Resident Council.

Outside of medicine, I consider myself an adventurer. I am a traveler at heart and enjoy swapping stories around a summertime campfire. When I am not spending time at the lake with my dogs and family, I enjoy inventing new games, running, hockey, golfing and attending quirky events or roadside attractions.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
