About Chen "Z" Zeigerson:
Biography & Education
Chen "Z" Zeigerson, DO is a PGY-1 resident at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency at Poudre Valley Hospital in Colorado. They earned their undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and completed medical school at Rocky Vista University in Englewood, CO. Z’s days as a resident are dynamic and ever-changing, often involving morning rounds on inpatient adult medicine, pediatrics, or obstetrics, followed by managing new admissions or welcoming newborns into the world. They also spend time in outpatient continuity clinic and participate in regular didactic sessions. Passionate about staying connected to the broader medical community, Z joined the Resident Council to represent fellow residents and engage in advocacy and social collaboration on a national level. Outside of medicine, Z enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
