Stephen M. Kuehn, DO, is a second-year resident at Ellis Medicine Family Medicine Residency in Schenectady, New York. He is originally from Troy, New York and attended medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.  His interests in osteopathic family medicine are manipulative therapies (OMT), pulmonary disease and diabetes management. As a Resident Council member, he seeks to represent his peers to the national organizing body and work to maintain osteopathic identity and teaching in the recently combined graduate medical education system.  

Stephen enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry in 2002. He is the 551st Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Virginia and served there from 2006-2008. He is a Veteran of two combat deployments and was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Afghanistan in 2013. He is currently the Battalion Surgeon at the Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 42D Infantry Division (National Guard) in Troy, New York.

Stephen is married to Lindsay, and they have two children. He enjoys running, cycling, cooking, traveling and Kentucky bourbon.
