The SAACOFP Board would like to give a shout out to OSUCOM for their Chapter activities. August was a month of outreach and recruitment for OSUCOM. The Chapter held a Rural Health Fair in Perkins, OK on August 18, where first and second year students participated in health screenings for community members. The students worked at a variety of stations, which included performing OMM and checking blood pressures. They also distributed information pamphlets to patients about mental health resources, and provided the attendees with information about relevant health findings. The OSUCOM Chapter also participated in their college’s Club Fair in order to recruit new students to join the organization, and keeps their members up to date with a monthly newsletter and social media updates. Great work, OSUCOM!
