Hi everyone! I am a PGY-3 FM resident at Jefferson Health NE in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to residency, I grew up in GA (even though I was born in PA). I went to the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree in Comparative Literature, and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine for my master's and my DO degree. I chose family medicine because I have seen the impact that primary care prevention can have on a personal level. I love that you can truly advocate for your patient and we are the gatekeepers for their healthcare; it is a humbling responsibility. I plan to pursue hospice/palliative care fellowship after residency. 

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, baking, traveling (before social distancing) and reading. Looking forward to a great year representing my fellow residents!
