Elizabeth A. Palmarozzi, DO, FACOFP
Speaker
Elizabeth A. Palmarozzi, DO, FACOFP, is the founding campus dean of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine - Montana campus. Dr. Palmarozzi served most recently as founding dean of the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine –Auburn, Alabama campus.
A Texas native, Dr. Palmarozzi attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon completion of medical training she cared for her patients in her family medicine practice until beginning her tenure as a dean. She also served as professor of family medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where she was awarded the Stanley Gillbert MD Professorship in medicine. Dr. Palmarozzi has held numerous academic and leadership roles throughout her career.
Dr. Palmarozzi joined ACOFP in 1981 and currently serves as the speaker of the Congress of Delegates. She is the first female ever elected to that position. In addition, Dr. Palmarozzi serves on the ACOFP Constitution and Bylaws Committee and Resolutions Review Committee and is a past president of the Texas Society of the ACOFP.
