About Susan Park:
Biography & Education
Greetings! I'm Susan Park, and I'm thrilled to be the newly elected president of the Auxiliary to the ACOFP (AACOFP). I currently live in the beautiful state of Montana where I am privileged to be living the American dream. I was born in South Korea and moved to New York when I was 16. I graduated from the State University of New York in Stony Brook in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in music as a classical pianist. I have been playing piano since the age of 4 and played for many churches throughout my life.
I met my husband, David Park, DO, in college during my freshman year, and we married in July 1992 after his first year of medical school. David and I have a son and a daughter, and they are both pursuing their goals of becoming osteopathic physicians. One of my greatest joys is being my daughter’s accompanist for her flute performances. I also enjoy crafting bags, jewelry, and greeting cards!
I have been part of the ACOFP for many years and attended just about every conference since David became an active member. I am also the first Executive Director of the ACOFP Mountain West Regional Society that represents Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana. I'm a huge fan of osteopathic family physicians due to their holistic approach to patient care and the use of OMT to help patients. I am a proud supporter of the ACOFP, and I hope you will join me as a member of the AACOFP.
