About Creed Mainz:
Biography & Education
Creed Mainz, OMS-III at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine–Virginia Campus in Blacksburg, VA, earned three undergraduate degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a B.S. in Public Health, a B.S. in Nutrition Research and Science, and a B.A. in Hispanic Linguistics. Inspired by the positive impact ACOFP had at his local chapter, he joined the National Student Executive Board to contribute on a broader scale, deepen his understanding of osteopathic family medicine, and help other students discover diverse opportunities within the specialty. Outside of medicine, Creed is passionate about staying active—he loves hiking, running, swimming, triathlons, and even skydiving. But above all, he thrives on meeting new people, learning from different perspectives, and sharing his own passions through teaching.
Creed serves as the Student Governor on the ACOFP Board of Governors, acting as the liaison between the board and the National Student Executive Board of the Student Association of the ACOFP. In this role, he helps ensure that student and professional initiatives are aligned, fostering collaboration and shared goals across both organizations.
