About Brandon Rein:
Biography & Education
Brandon Rein, OMS-II, is a medical student at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) in Old Westbury, NY, where he is also concurrently pursuing his M.B.A. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, MA. Motivated by a desire to connect student chapters across the country and support fellow medical students, Brandon joined the ACOFP National Student Executive Board to help peers find the resources and guidance they need during medical school. In his free time, he enjoys line dancing, karaoke, hiking, and traveling, and he has a passion for gardening, cooking, skiing, and playing the alto sax.
As the Chapter Outreach Director of the National Student Executive Board, Brandon serves as the primary point of contact for the formation of new chapters and the revitalization of inactive ones. He works closely with national committees to support student membership engagement and recruitment efforts, helping to grow and strengthen the ACOFP student community. He also assists the National Secretary in maintaining an up-to-date record of all local chapter presidents and their respective officers. Additionally, he acts as the NSEB liaison for assigned student committees and provides monthly updates to the board.
