Will there be a board review component of Intensive Osteopathic Update, as in previous years with Intensive Update and Board Review?
No, but the ACOFP Intensive Update & Board Review Online self-study modules can help update you on the most important areas for your exams while earning 1-B credit. 

How many CME credits will be available for Intensive Osteopathic Update? 
ACOFP anticipates this program will be approved for over 30 AOA Category 1-A CME credits.

Where is this year’s event taking place?
This year's event will be held completely virtually through the Pathable platform, with no in-person component.

What if I am unable to attend live? What access will registrants have to on-demand programming?
Registrants will have access to all sessions on-demand on the Pathable platform immediately after they are streamed live. Sessions will be available on the Pathable platform for three months, and then the sessions will be transitioned to the ACOFP eLearning Center for registrants to access for another nine months. If you are unable to attend any or all sessions live, you will be able to attend these sessions on-demand, and you will be eligible to earn AOA Category 1-A CME for up to one year—upon successful completion of the CME evaluation.

I am a resident. Why should I attend this event?
Residents can attend valuable and informative sessions on a wide variety of topics that are important to all osteopathic family physicians, including health and wellness and practice management. Plus, this year's virtual event is available for free to all resident members! 

Please note: If you attend and evaluate a session live, you will not be able to receive additional CME by watching the same session on demand. Only one credit is allowed per CME session.  


ACOFP is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to sponsor continuing medical education for osteopathic physicians. ACOFP anticipates this program will be approved for over 30 AOA Category 1-A CME credits. In addition, application for CME credit will be filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for those physicians seeking CME credit through this mechanism.
