Explore Best Practices in Family Medicine Residency Education
Join family medicine program directors, faculty and program coordinators from across the country for the 2022 ACOFP Faculty Development and Program Directors' Workshop (FDPDW), which will take place completely virtually, February 11–13. As you know, faculty development is a core ACGME family medicine residency requirement, and attending our workshop is a great way to help meet that requirement.

Many of this year's faculty development presentations are linked to the required training elements as listed in the ACGME family medicine program requirements. And, for program directors, faculty and program coordinators, this is a great opportunity to hear directly from the ACGME Family Medicine Review Committee and the ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Committee, as well as to learn more about the new milestones from the director of that committee.

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. ACOFP anticipates the Faculty Development and Program Directors' Workshop will be approved for as many as up to 18 credits of AOA Category 1-A CME.

In addition, applications for CME credit will be filed with American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for those physicians seeking CME credit through this mechanism.

This program is sponsored by ACOFP for educational purposes only. The material presented is not intended to represent the sole or best medical interventions for the discussed diagnoses, but rather is intended to present the opinions of the authors or presenters that may be helpful to other practitioners. Attendees participating in this medical education program do so with the full knowledge that they waive any claim they may have against ACOFP for reliance on any information presented during these educational activities.
