My name is Mohit Chhatpar and I am currently a family medicine resident in the inaugural class at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA. I am honored and excited to part of the ACOFP Resident Council and represent Region 6!
I grew up on Long Island in New York and attended New York University in New York City before then attending William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
I am passionate about rural medicine and behavioral health and working with underserved populations. I have plans to pursue a fellowship in Addiction Medicine after completing residency.
During my time outside of residency, I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, playing basketball, and Bollywood – both movies and dance! I also love traveling and eating foods from different cuisines!
