Hello! My name is Joe Li, and I am a PGY1 Family Medicine resident at Mount Sinai Downtown Residency in New York City. I am a first-generation college student and physician who grew up in Brooklyn. I joined ACOFP as a first-year medical student and discovered family medicine. Through this organization, I had the opportunity to meet amazing mentors, make valuable connections and connected with outstanding students and residents from all over the country. I went on to serve on the National Student Executive Board, and now as a resident, I am happy to be back to serve on the Resident Council. I am always available if you need to reach out to me and would be more than happy to serve as a contact for your journey along the way. Quick snippet about myself: I love traveling, love outdoor activities (camping and hiking), and also enjoy spending time indoors watching anime and playing video games.
