Join the ACOFP Family

The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians is the only organization in the United States committed to serving the unique needs of osteopathic family physicians. Here are some of the reasons you should join the more than 18,000 osteopathic family physicians, residents and medical students across the country and become a member of ACOFP:

Join for advocacy. Over the past two years, ACOFP has significantly invested resources into our advocacy efforts so that the needs of osteopathic family physicians are represented. This has been especially imperative in light of the pandemic and its direct challenges to practicing physicians. From our weekly newsletter to keep members informed on legislation and regulatory updates, to comment letters to members of Congress, to advocacy education (like the upcoming live webinar we'll be hosting next month), ACOFP works tirelessly on behalf of its membership.

Join for education. Ensuring that you get the CME you need to maintain board certification, lead your practice and improve care is a major priority for ACOFP—especially in the current environment. To best serve its members, we have re-envisioning our programming and our channels. Moving forward, all ACOFP events will offer virtual registration options—in addition to in-person (when possible)—to give members the flexibility to choose where (and when) they want to learn. We are also re-imagining some of our events and refreshing our programming. Plus, we have increased opportunities for members to obtain AOA Category 1-A CME—at no additional cost.

Join for community. We're experiencing a time of unprecedented change, and no one knows what you're going through like your ACOFP family. Whether you want to join your colleagues on a committee or mingle at a virtual or in-person event, no other organization keeps you connected to your colleagues and friends like ACOFP.
