WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The ACOFP Intensive Update & Board Review provides a patient-care focused program led by osteopathic family physicians. The curriculum has been updated to reflect the latest developments, covering major family medicine concepts and helping participants improve existing skills while introducing innovative osteopathic modalities. Hands-on OMT breakout sessions and targeted reviews of important topics in family medicine are designed to augment knowledge in preparation for the certification or recertification exam while minimizing the time away from your busy practice.
The ACOFP is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to sponsor continuing medical education for osteopathic physicians. ACOFP anticipates this program will be approved for over 35 AOA Category 1-A CME credits. In addition, application for CME credit will be filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for those physicians seeking CME credit through this mechanism.
