Description
In this presentation, we will discuss basic OMT. We will review basic philosophy and techniques including Myofascial Release, HVLA, Muscle Energy, and Counterstrain, discussing the indications and contraindications of each.

Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this session, the learner will be able to:
  1. Discuss basic principles of Osteopathic Medicine
  2. Differentiate between direct & indirect techniques
  3. Discuss indications & contraindications for HVLA, ME, CS, MFR, ST
  4. Discuss general theory behind and proper use of several techniques
