MACRA – Everyone's Talking About It But What Does It Mean? - FREE
Description: This presentation is a primer on MACRA and the changes that will accompany it starting January 1, 2016. The two new payment models as well as new rules for Alternative Payment Models are reviewed.

Penalties will go up, as will incentives. But it does not get any easier to meet CMS requirements. Quality Reporting will be worth 50% of your Composite Payment Score (CPS), which will then determine your incentives or penalties.

If you do not report for 2016 you will receive the full penalty of 4% for this year. A brief summary of what we can expect from CMS for 2017, when Quality is 50% of your payment modifier.

If you have not signed up for the ACOFP Practice Transformation Initiative, this contains a description of the program and services which you will receive at no cost through a CMS funded program.
