First I would like to say what an honor it is to serve as President of the Auxiliary. This is such a very vital group to not only the ACOFP but to all members of the osteopathic family.

We have just come from such a successful convention at the foot of the beautiful Rockies. There were great CME programs, and fantastic participation throughout all the social functions.

On the behalf of the Auxiliary, I would like to thank all of the attendees for their support at the Auxiliary’s fundraising event, “Casino Night”. We all had such a good time that people did not want it to end. Through your participation that evening and through the generous sponsorships, the Auxiliary grossed over $ 22,000 and had a profit of almost $ 14,000. We cannot thank everyone enough! That money will be used for student scholarships as well as supporting the Student Leadership Program at the ACOFP convention.

We hope you enjoyed the Family Breakfast. We had attendance there of over 250 families, children and guests.  Convention time is so busy so it was nice to meet the families and share food, good times, and memories. We want to thank the ACOFP Board of Governors for supporting the breakfast with us. 

The Auxiliary Executive Board and I are looking forward to a productive year with many challenges. If you are not a member, please consider joining. We are a dedicated group who are only interested in the promotion of Family Medicine in the Osteopathic Profession.

We look forward to seeing you in Washington, D.C. next year.

Thank you to all who joined us at the Family Breakfast! Our goal is to reach out to all the families; children and guests that attend the convention by providing a breakfast so we can all get to know one another. We are delighted that the breakfast was a success and we hope you had an enjoyable start to your day.

The Auxiliary Casino Night was a great success. We would like to say “thank you” to all who participated in the fun filled evening. Another special “thank you” to our dear osteopathic friends who generously sponsored the gaming table signs. The ACOFP Board of Governors once again once supported our fundraising event with 100% sponsorships. Your generosity will continue to support Osteopathic medical residents and students.
