ELIZABETH A. PALMAROZZI, DO, FACOFP RECEIVES FELLOW AWARD OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC FAMILY PHYSICIANS

Elizabeth A. Palmarozzi, DO, FACOFP of Ft. Worth, Texas received her designation as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) during its Annual Conclave of Fellows Award Ceremony on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the ACOFP 45th Annual Convention & Exhibition in Denver, Colorado.

The honorary designation of Fellow is bestowed upon those candidates who have contributed outstanding national and local service through teaching, authorship, research, or professional leadership. They have also contributed outstanding service in their professional career and family practice duties in their community and civic activities.

Dr. Palmarozzi is a 1984 graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Ft. Worth, Texas and currently is the Chair of the Dept of Family and Community Medicine at UNTHSC- Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and Chief Medical Officer of the Primary Care Center at UNT Health Science Center. She teaches students the application of osteopathic medicine in a clinical setting to better prepare them to address the challenges of providing comprehensive care to patients.

Dr. Palmarozzi serves as a Delegate from Texas to the ACOFP’s Congress of Delegates and as a Delegate to the AOA House of Delegates representing the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association as the Vice Chairman of the Delegation.
