A board-certified family physician, Dr. Wiseman is a 1978 graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) following military service in Vietnam as a medic with the 101st Airborne.

A Houston native, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, serves as an associate professor of family medicine at the UNT Health Science Center and received the 2001 ACOFP Physician of the Year Award.  Dr. Wiseman has been in practice for more than 20 years in Whitehouse, Texas, and serves as a District Review Committee member for the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
