Call for Physician Stories!    Take Action!
Tell Us How the Medicare Payment Cuts Will Affect You.

Drastic cuts in Medicare physician payments are scheduled for 2008. How will the 9.9 percent cut affect your practice?

The ACOFP and the AOA want to know how the annual reimbursement cuts are impacting your ability to provide patient care.

We are compiling physician comments and anecdotes to distribute to Congress. Unless they hear about your experiences as physicians and the effects these cuts are having on your patients and community, they will not see the urgency in our quest to reform the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) system.

Your stories make an impact. Share them today!

Support the "Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act" (H.R. 1093/S. 588)
The AOA needs your help to garner support for the “Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act of 2007” (S. 588/H.R. 1093) introduced by Sens. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Bill Nelson (D-FL) and Reps. Kendrick Meek (D-FL), Jon Porter (R-NV), and Kathy Castor (D-FL).
