Tell Us How the Medicare Payment Cuts Will Affect You.

Drastic cuts in Medicare physician payments are scheduled for 2008. How will the 9.9 percent cut affect your practice?

The ACOFP and the AOA want to know how the annual reimbursement cuts are impacting your ability to provide patient care.

We are compiling physician comments and anecdotes to distribute to Congress. Unless they hear about your experiences as physicians and the effects these cuts are having on your patients and community, they will not see the urgency in our quest to reform the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) system.

Your stories make an impact. Share them today!

Protect Your Practice with Essential Contract Terms by Bruce D. Armon
It is critically important that you take the steps to protect you and your practice.  It is imperative that you have executed contracts in place. Set forth below are five things to consider before you execute a
contract, regardless of the type of contract or the previous (or current) relationship you have with the other party.

  1. What am I getting, or giving?
  2. How do I get out of the arrangement?
  3. Can a substitute party become involved in the arrangement?
  4. What are the payment terms
  5. What do I do if I do not understand certain clauses in a contract
