Medical Outreach Poster Award
Submission Guidelines

The ACOFP Medical Outreach Committee invites all osteopathic students and family medicine residents to participate in its Poster Presentation Contest held during the ACOFP 54th Annual Convention and Scientific Seminars March 16-19, 2017 in Kissimmee, Florida.

We are no longer accepting award applications. Deadline to apply was January 15, 2017.
This contest does not offer scholarly activity credit.

The ACOFP recognizes osteopathic student and family medicine resident activities in medical outreach to highlight ongoing efforts of our student and resident membership and the inherent value of their community service, both domestically and internationally. Their activities in medical outreach exemplify the values held by osteopathic physicians and provide positive role models for all in our profession and in the communities they serve.

For the purposes of this award, medical outreach activities are generally defined as volunteer activities either domestically or internationally that are intended to improve health care of underserved populations of the community by either providing educational interventions to the community or participating in direct health care screenings or medical care within the community.
