Governor


Bruce R. Williams, DO, FACOFP has practiced osteopathic family medicine in Eastern Jackson County Missouri since 1988. He is also Assistant Dean for HCA Midwest Health at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine.
 
He was elected as Governor on the ACOFP Board of Governors in March 2015. He was the President of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) in 2004-2005 and the Missouri Society of the ACOFP in 2011-2013. 
 
Dr. Williams continues to serve as a Trustee on the MAOPS Board and sits on several committees. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences since 2010. He has been a Missouri Delegate to the AOA House of Delegates since 1997. And he has served the ACOFP as a Delegate to the Congress of Delegates, and as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home/ACO Committee and the Ethics Committee.
