Dr. Rodriguez Named to Governing Board
For the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – Rebeccah R. Rodriguez, DO was elected as the Resident Academic Member on the Board of Governors of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians on March 16, 2007 during the ACOFP Annual Convention in Kissimmee, Florida.

The ACOFP is the national organization representing more than 25,000 practicing osteopathic family physicians and physicians-in-training.

Dr. Rodriguez is a resident physician at the John C. Lincoln Family Medicine Residency Program in Phoenix, Arizona.

Prior to her election, Dr. Rodriguez served as the ACOFP National Student Executive Board President in 2004 and was the 2002 Student Chapter President at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.

Dr. Rodriguez received the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association Student Distinguished Service Award in 2006, and she is member of the Arizona Latin Medical Association.  She serves in community health fairs and teaches Medical Spanish to first-year medical students.
