Dr. Schlecht Receives 2007 Distinguished Service Award From the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – Joseph R. Schlecht, DO, FACOFP from Jenks, Oklahoma is the recipient of a 2007 Distinguished Service Award from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Schlecht is recognized for his work on the Relative Value Unit Update Commission. ACOFP members using these codes will receive a significant payment increase in 2007.
“Joe put in many hours making the survey happen. He saw an opportunity and seized it. As a result, those of us who use these common codes will experience a payment increase in the future,” stated ACOFP President Steven F. Rubin, DO, FACOFP dist.
The Award was presented March 17, 2007 during the ACOFP Annual Convention in Kissimmee, Florida.
