The mission of ACOFP is to promote excellence in osteopathic family medicine through quality education, visionary leadership and responsible advocacy.
Strategic Goal #1:
Increase the number of students selecting AOA-approved family practice residency programs.
Strategic Goal #2:
Increase the size of the ACOFP membership via retention and recruitment.
Strategic Goal #3:
Increase the interaction between ACOFP and the osteopathic colleges and between ACOFP and the osteopathic family practice post-graduate training programs.
Strategic Goal #4:
The American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians should attempt to retain 15 months of average annual expenses in reserve.
