CHAPTER SHOUT OUT

The SAACOFP board would like to recognize PNWU-COM for their activities this month. In September, PNWU created a geriatric sub-committee for their chapter spearheaded by several interested first year students. With a growing shortage of geriatricians, an estimated additional 1,200 geriatricians would be required each year to address the projected 30,000 physician deficit by 2030. Well done PNWU doing your part to address this shortage. We are excited to see osteopathic students committed to improving healthcare disparities in this country.
